Emma and TJ had their first soccer games this week. They have been been SO excited to play and have been practicing and practicing. TJ's game was first and he was super excited until he saw his coach. He was a nice looking guy with a kid on the team but for some reason TJ was really afraid of him. He was wearing a yellow sweatshirt and TJ keeps saying he was afraid of the yellow team. Silly boy! He cried and cried and wouldn't play. Toward the end of the game he let Jared hold his hand out on the field and walk around but still freaked out when anyone, especially his coach, tried to talk to him.
Emma on the other hand did awesome!!! She was having the time of her life. It was really fun to watch...at least it would have been fun if it wasn't freezing cold and I didn't have two other screaming kids with no husband to help.
We have been working on TJ, helping him to understand that his coach is not scary and are hoping he does better next week!

They are both such cute kids. Too bad TJ was afraid of his scary team and coach! Hopefully he warms up to the whole soccer idea soon. I loved the pictures, as usual!
I think that is so funny he is scared of his coach! What is it about coaches? they are always scary! But hey, at least he got on the field- even if it was with dad! I am sorry about the battling children with no dad to help thing! It is rough!
That is so funny! Poor little guy.
So cute your kids are getting SO big!
Hey!! I found you off of Liz's blog and can't believe how big your kids are!!! They are all so cute! It's fun to see your cute little family!
